Cheesy Chive Bread

INGREDIENTS
METHOD

500g white bread flour
-
10g instant dried yeast
-
60g softened butter
-
2 cups warm milk
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
1 teaspoon sugar
-
6 Tablespoon chopped fresh chives
-
100g grated cheddar cheese
-
In a bowl, sift in the flour and salt. Add sugar, chives and the yeast.

Add 3/4 of the cheese

Add the butter and milk and combine
-
Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes. Cover and leave in a warm place for 1 hour

Knock the dough down and knead again
-
Place in a greased loaf tin and leave to rise to double its size
-
Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top and bake in a preheated oven at 180℃ for 40 minutes.
